What this program is about?

Hypnosis is one of the most discussed and debated phenomena in communication, linguistics, psychotherapy and their related disciplines. But what is and whether it even exists is still debated. In “Beyond Hypnosis …” we will be exploring the structure of consciousness and its organization in ordinary and extra-ordinary states. You will have the opportunity to experience intense shifts of consciousness around producing profound transformational change. You will then have the opportunity to experience producing these shifts in others as well.

Many people assume hypnosis is all about the induction. Yet it is in the utilization of the altered state that all real change occurs. We will begin with the familiar, offering you new ways to approach: language, hypnotic induction, calibration, building rapport, pacing and leading. Once we’ve laid out the groundwork we will begin to build to the finer aspects of utilization. We will begin to swirl in the advanced skills you want to learn: non-verbal inductions, conversational hypnosis, post-hypnotic suggestions, nested loops, omni-holographic anchoring, and much more. You will learn about the patterns of amnesia, hypnotic anesthesia, forensic hypnosis, analytical hypnosis, and much more as well.

During these four days you will begin to master the language of transformation. We will unpack the structure of language and begin to build an awareness and sensitivity to recognizing hypnotic language patterns in ordinary language and conversation, as you simultaneously develop the ability to use these patterns intentionally. We will also uncover the non-verbal aspects of hypnotic language both as receivers and as senders in communication. You will learn the secret language of power, influence and persuasion used by the top communicators throughout history.

Maybe what’s most unique and important about this particular program is that you will learn how to use this knowledge and skill with others. Before we finish these four days together you will know how to utilize this information in you interactions as a therapist, counselor, consultant, executive, manager, business owner, entrepreneur, sales professional, teacher, parent and in every interaction with other that you have. You will recognize when others have shifted their states, know how to shift your state and the states of others intentionally, be able to recognize and use hypnotic language in “ordinary” conversation, and select the specific message you want others to hear, remember and act on when you speak. This is unlike a training program where the emphasis is on what to do, here the emphasis is on how to do it and when.

John LaValle is recognized as one of the most talented trainers of NLP throughout the world. John is currently the only trainer presenting NLP training with Richard Bandler worldwide, including in the U.S. Along with Richard Bandler; John is the co-author of “Persuasion Engineering.” John is also known for his direct and feisty training style and his mastery of NLP language patterns. In this training John will share with you his lifetime’s fascination, learning and mastery of language and its function in transformational change. In addition to his skills as an NLP Master Trainer and hypnotist, John has a MBA and is a successful business trainer and consultant working with Fortune 500 companies for the last 15 years.

Joseph Riggio is one of the most broadly and deeply trained NLP and hypnosis trainers presenting in the world today. Joseph started in the martial arts at age 13. He began exploring both western and oriental forms of meditation and hypnosis at the age of 17. By the age of 20, he had read most of the Zen material then translated into English and was well versed in the foundations of Zen, oriental healing, medicine and philosophy, a third-degree black belt in Okinawan Karate and a first-degree black belt in Aiki-JuJitSu, was an amateur boxer and begun studying Neo-American Shamanism. In 1983 Joseph began a formal study of hypnosis and in 1987 did a NLP Practitioner training. Starting in 1989, he began studying under one of the most innovative, talented and recognized NLP Master Trainers and Master Hypnotists, Roye Fraser.

He continued apprenticing actively with Roye for over six years. Joseph is one of the very few people in the world who is thoroughly and sufficiently skilled to apply Roye’s “Generative Imprint™” Process in his work. Using what he learned in his apprenticeship with Roye he has developed the Mythogenic Self™ Process and Soma-Semantics™. “Beyond Hypnosis …^® 2004, the program event

This very special event is a one-time presentation of this material by John and Joseph this year. They have not presented together for over two years and will not be presenting this event at any other time in 2004. The program has a very limited participation to ensure the quality and level of learning. You will not be a face in the crowd, but you will be recognized, seen and interacted with as an individual. This is a very unique aspect of the work that John and Joseph do when they are together. They go beyond “front stage” presenting to an audience to a genuine interaction with the participants. The nature of this training and the work they will be doing is personal and somewhat intense, so please expect something remarkable.

If you were aware of or even at the “Beyond Hypnosis …” program with John and Joseph two years ago you’ll recall it was a five-day event. They’ve shortened it to four days by removing all non-essential material, focusing on the essentials and working out the most effective and efficient possible way to transfer this knowledge and these skills to you. They’ve changed the format entirely, instead of hypnosis training; they’ve revamped the entire program to truly go beyond mere hypnosis to cover all the hidden patterns of personal power, influence and persuasion. They will be demonstrating hypnosis AND then going beyond hypnosis into the domain of purely conversational change. The structure of the event

The training is designed to be residential because of the intensive nature of the work we will be doing. The venue has been selected to support the program and the participants experience during this event.

Day One

You will arrive either the night before or early the first morning of the program so that we can start at promptly at 10:00 AM. The first day John and Joseph will present various models of hypnosis and hypnotic language building a response potential with you in using any of these forms at the appropriate time. You will practice the language patterns that form the basis of conversational hypnosis and experience several forms of altered experience. By the evening of the first day together you will be able to lead people’s attention and fixate it to build directionality in the interactions you engage in. Not only will you be more prepared to engage in interactions that produce your outcomes, others will also begin to experience their time with you as more fulfilling and worthwhile as well. You’ll be perceived as a person who is congruent, capable, competent, trustworthy and powerful.

Day Two

On day two you will learn ‘patterns of power’ that have been used by great communicators of all time to make what you say and do memorable and produce outstanding results with others. John and Joseph will begin revealing the hidden patterns of hypnotic language and the patterns of non-verbal hypnosis as well. These patterns are present in almost all conversation and John and Joseph will teach you how to shape what you do to take advantage of natural opportunities to become more powerful, influential and persuasive. Before you end the second day you will know how to make the adjustments in your conversations with others that will make them pay attention to you and act upon your suggestions.

Day Three

On day three John and Joseph will go much further than ‘ordinary’ models of hypnosis. You will build the prerequisites of extraordinary leadership. They will begin to demonstrate how you can personally access altered states that are extremely powerful. You will learn how to access you own states of power and how to lead others to states of power as well. Part of the structure of the Beyond Hypnosis … model is an orientation to the positive bias of excitatory states. John and Joseph will teach you how to create this orientation and share it with others. They will demonstrate and expose how to use “primal drivers” to generate wanton states of motivation. Building on the “response potential” and “non-verbal hypnotic protocols” you learned in days one and two, John and Joseph will demonstrate and guide you on how to integrate these states of power and possibility into your conversational interactions. Before the day is over you will be pulsing with the desire and ability to shift all the interactions you are engaged in to a positive orientation where possibility is the organizing principal. You will know what and how to do this on your own and with both individuals and groups.

Day Four

On day four it’s time to begin integrating and wrapping up. The knowledge and skills you’ve been learning for the past three days will begin to come together in a whole form model. You will learn the technology of ‘omni-holographic hypnosis’ the ability to operate on multiple levels and in multiple sensory modes simultaneously – using both verbal and non-verbal techniques. This is where everything you’ve been doing over the three days together with John and Joseph really build so that you integrate these abilities into a reflex response. You will learn how to act ‘in-time,’ spontaneously with others using all the knowledge and skill you’ve gained over the four days of the program event. Instead of having to work at what to be doing, you will begin to operate reflexively and effortlessly using this learning. At this point in the program you will have built a potential to respond with others using the knowledge and skills of personal power, invisible influence and patterns of persuasion. What used to go unnoticed by you in the past will never again get past you and what used to be secret knowledge and skill will now be yours.
